The Philips filter shower head AWP1705 is simply connected to the shower hose and can be used directly.

The integrated filter reliably removes free chlorine as well as impurities such as rust and sediments. At the same time, the tap water is softened.

Practical, ergonomic and safe: The body of the shower head made of high-quality ivory white plastic is compact and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand thanks to its ergonomic shape. The anti-scald material is optimally adapted to hot water temperatures of conventional water heaters and thus ensures safe use. The one-piece filter design allows for clean, hassle-free replacement.

Constant water pressure: The dense and even water flow of 6 l/min. ensures a pleasant shower experience. The gentle beam is also particularly suitable for babies and children.

Effective against chlorine and impurities.

Against residual chlorine: Free chlorine can be harmful to health and even carcinogenic. The CaSO3 filter system integrated into the shower head changes up to 99% of the chlorine contained in tap water into water-soluble harmless chloride. CaSO3 (calcium sulphite) is extremely effective to reduce chlorine in tap water - even more effective in warm water than activated carbon.

Against impurities: Two integrated filter sieves also remove impurities such as sand, rust and sediments from tap water.

For silky soft shower water.

In many regions of Germany, tap water is hard or very hard.

In the bathroom, this apparently ensures limescale deposits on shower walls and fittings.

The minerals in hard tap water also dry out skin and scalp. Especially for sensitive skin or conditions such as eczema this can lead to dryness, dandruff, eczema and itching. In addition, the hair structure is roughened, the hair loses elasticity and shine and becomes dull.

The CaSO3 filter media converts the limescale dissolved in the water and thus softens the water effectively. The filter shower head provides pleasant shower water that feels noticeably softer on the skin. In addition, limescale deposits in the shower and on the fittings are reduced.
